How to fetch learners tracking data

If you wish to import tracking data from the Teach on Mars platform back into your system, there is a way to do that using the Mission Center's web services.

What data

This data is comparable to the data export by training that you can download from the Mission Center.

This data is the consolidated tracking data up to the moment of the download. Each line of the export combines the data for one learner and one training course.

It is not possible to fetch only the new tracking data since the last export.

Warning on service usage

This service can be quite heavy for our servers if the amount of data is significant. So this service must only be used as a daily synchronisation feature between the two systems. 

Also, the response time can be a bit long, so your system needs to be ready to wait for the response to be complete. One good practice is to ask for a staging Mission Center and copy the production environment so that tests can be done with real world data before going into production.
