Comments can be activated when a communication is sent to the Wall.
Learners can then share text, but also emojis, images and web links. They can also mention learners who also have access to communication.
To comment, the learner must click on the “text bubble” icon at the bottom right of the communication. Within an article, (s)he clicks on the "+" button to then select the text bubble.
1. Text and emojis sharing
The learner can simply comment on the communication with text and emojis (those from the mobile device operating system).
2. Image sharing
The learner can comment on the communication and add a picture to it.
To do this, (s)he clicks on the camera and has two options:
- (s)he can take a photo with the smartphone camera - the image can then be sent directly for comment but will not be saved on the phone.
- (s)he selects the image he wishes to insert from the image gallery.
When the image is confirmed, a window allows it to crop, resize or even zoom in on part of the image. After validation, the image is added to the body of the text of the comment that the learner wishes to make. (S)He just has to click on the send arrow.
Note: if the comment mixes text and image, the image will be automatically placed under the text box.
3. Web link sharing
The learner can comment on the communication and add a Web link to it.
(S)He just needs to insert the link address and a thumbnail of the related site will appear.

Note: if the comment includes an image and a web link, the site thumbnail will be replaced by the image chosen. The link remains accessible with one click.
4. Mention of a learner who also has access to the communication
The learner can comment on the communication and mention another learner who also has access to the communication.
(S)He just has to insert “@” and add the first 3 letters of the learner's name. A list will be proposed and (s)he can select the learner.
The learner's search can be done by last name, first name, email or login. Once the learner is selected, it is the first name and last name that appear in the mention.
5. Video sharing
Note: This feature is available from the major December 2020 release (3.2).
The learner can comment on the communication and add a video to it (mp4 format - on iOS, .mov videos are encoded in mp4 before sending).
To do this, (s)he clicks on the camera and has two options:
- (s)he can record a video with the smartphone camera - the video can then be sent directly for comment but will not be saved on the phone.
- (s)he selects the image (s)he wishes to insert from the media gallery.
When the video is confirmed, a window indicates that the video is processing for validation. After validation, the video is being added to the body of the text comment the learner wishes to send. (S)He just has to click on the send arrow.
