Anders Pink is a service that provides content curation. You can customise briefings by choosing topics, content sources, any other parameters. Anders Pink will then deliver daily web content for your briefings.
The goal of this integration will be to include this daily content inside a web activity.
Step 1 - Prepare what you need in Anders pink
1. Create a briefing and configure it to your liking. Then open your briefing.
2. Copy the ID of the briefing from the address bar. (in this example, the ID is 7320) Keep it safe, you will this ID later. |
Step 2 - Create the web activity
First, download the Anders Pink Briefing example activity.
Then uncompress the archive, and open the file data/data.js in a text editor. It looks like that:
briefingId is the ID of the briefing you want to use (yes the same ID you've just saved) points is the number of points that you would like the learner to earn the first time this content is opened. You can put 0 if you don't want any points to be given. |
So now, change the briefingId for the value you've saved, and it should look like that:
Save the file.
And now, compress the content again in a ZIP file, and you may now upload it to a web activity.
Here's what it should look like:
Optional step - customise the logo
In the data folder, there is a file called logo.png. You can change it to insert your own logo instead (but don't change the filename).
