Teach on Mars offers SaaS (Software as a Service). Our SaaS infrastructure is hosted in the Amazon Web Services cloud.
Can the infrastructure be zoned?
It is possible to set up a localized infrastructure in each of the major regions (Europe, North America, South America, Asia) to provide the best experience for each learner.
How is the infrastructure dedicated to my project?
Each Teach on Mars customer has dedicated databases, as well as its own data center and its own monitoring and management interface (Mission Center). These services rely on virtual dedicated servers, where multiple customers instances coexist.
Is the storage capacity unlimited?
Yes! Pricing is independent of storage, and infrastructure can contain an unlimited amount of files of any size... or almost: we do not support files over 5 terabytes ;-)
Where are hosted contents to be downloaded by learners in their Apps?
All elements are hosted on Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) or directly on our servers. Only videos that will be viewed in streaming (online) mode are an exception. They are hosted on Vimeo, a dedicated platform for this service.
Can I use Teach on Mars contents in other solutions?
Teach on Mars content production is based on open formats, since only Excel tables are needed. So you have the flexibility to re-export this content to other platforms.
