News Callisto - October 2019 (subject to republication of your application)
Thanks to the commenting functionality, you will be able to generate more emulation around the communications you post on the Wall of your app! Using the Comments feature, your learners can react to and interact around the articles, videos, training courses and other communications you post. With your Manager account on the Mission Center, you can keep
track of your most commented articles and moderate any comments you deem inappropriate.
How to enable the "Comments" feature on the Mission Center?
When you create a communication on the Mission Center, the "Comments" feature appears in the list of available options.
Simply cgeck Allow comments and the feature will be enabled for the communication in question. Once posted, all the learners who receive the communication will be able to comment on it from the Wall of their app.
Comments can be added to all types of communication.
How learners comment on Communications straight from the app?
From the Wall, when learners see a bubble icon, that means that they can comment on the communication content.
They simply click on the bubble to access the comments section for the communication in question.
For any Article-type communication, the "+" icon at the bottom right of the mobile app screen shows all the available actions, including the bubble icon for adding a comment.
The number displayed next to the bubble icon tells the learner how many comments have already been posted for any given communication.
A learner can 'like' another learner's comment by tapping on the heart icon below the comment, or respond to it by tapping on the bubble icon.
What can learners share via the Wall comments feature?
Learners can exchange text, emojis and web links. Web links are displayed with a preview.
How is a learner notified that another learner has replied to his/her comment?
The learner is alerted by a push notification each time they get an answer or a reaction to a comment they have posted. When they click on the notification, they are taken directly to the Wall page, and will find the notification center just below the Wall Slider.
Here they can view all the new replies and reactions to the comments they have posted. Unread notifications stand out by their coloured background. The learner can choose to mark all notifications as read by clicking on the icon at the top right of the screen.
How a manager is notified of new comments on the Wall?
Notifications are not automatic for the Manager. Managers can use their learner account to consult new comments directly on the app.
Equally, in the Mission Center, they can track the number of comments associated with any given communication.
This data can also be located and exported from the Reports tab in the Communications section.
