How to create a direct link (or QR code) to a training course?

A direct link to a training course will allow the learner to access a training course in one click, and possibly to enroll if he/she is not enrolled yet.

Note: The training course must be published. The deeplink will not work with a training course in Test version, even if your account has the status of content reviewer

1. Direct link to a training course

In the Details section, click on 

Once clicked, the link is automatically copied in the clipboard and the following window appears:

: click to copy the link address again

: click to download the QR code

Note: The results only show training courses at least published once.

2. Direct link to a training course enrollment

Note: The learner clicking on the link (or scanning the QR code) will automatically be enrolled to the training course if he/she is not enrolled yet.

In the Learner access management section, create a new rule and select the third tab.

Name the rule, than copy the QR code and finish by clicking on Create

Once clicked, the link is automatically copied in the clipboard and the following window appears:

What is the behavior of these direct links?

• On a phone with the App installed, the App will be launched and the learner will be redirected to the content
• On a phone that does not have the App installed, the Webapp will be launched but the home screen will invite the learner to install the App (Webapp screen by default if the screen is too small)
• On a non-mobile device, the Webapp will be launched and the learner will be invited to log in
• Limitation: It is currently not possible to have a link to a training course from inside a web activity. We recommend to create a separate web link activity instead.

Note: This feature must be activated by the Teach on Mars team. Do not hesitate to talk about it with your Project Manager at Teach on Mars.
