Scheduling a communication allows you to better manage your editorial calendar and make your community management easier. You can reserve a 30-minute time slot at the start of the week to plan all your communications for the week, or even the month!
1. How does the scheduling of a communication work?
Once your communication has been created, click on "Schedule".
Notes: to plan a communication, it must at least include a title. Scheduling works on all types of communication.
The scheduling window then opens.
You can then choose:
- A date in the calendar
- A time zone (by first choosing an area, then a city. Ie: Europe, Paris).
- A time (this will be the communication sending time, according to the chosen time zone. Ie: if you choose the time zone "Europe, Paris" and the time "16:30", the communication will be sent at 4:30 p.m. Paris time.)
Once you have chosen these items, click on "Schedule".
Your communication then appears in the list with the label "Scheduled".
2. How to update the scheduling of a communication?
Once your communication is scheduled, you can update the date, time zone and time of sending if it has not been sent yet.
To do this, you must first unschedule the communication, and proceed with a new scheduling:
- Edit the communication
.
Click on "Unschedule" at the bottom of the page
Schedule the communication again! If you no longer wish to schedule it, you can save it or send it directly.
Note: the last time zone chosen is kept as the first option during future communication scheduling.
