On-the-shelf content feature allows Mission Center owners to deliver content to clients who also
have their own Mission Center, and keep track of the usage of the delivered content.
It also enables the provider to distribute demo versions of the content, in which only a part of the
content is available.
Note: during the kick-off phase, you must issue the request to your project manager that Teach on Mars teams activate the guest mode in your Mission Center.
This feature also allows to not share the sources and to control the number of licenses accessing these contents.
We will use the Source Mission Center (MC1) term for the Mission Center sharing the training course content, and the Destination Mission Center (MC2) the one which will make accessible these contents in demo mode.
Firstly, the owner of the MC1 (the one who created the content) can generate licenses from his MC, to be used on another MC.
The author of the content can, if he wishes it, provide with a demo of this training course. The recipient of the demo will then have some activities available to test this training course.
In case of content updates by the author of the training course, an indication appears on the MC2 informing that an update is available.
