Teach on Mars allows you to block a module according to different criteria:
- By code (read the article "How to lock a module using a code?")
- Under condition of success of another module (read the article "How to unlock modules under condition of success of another module?")
- By date (we will learn this in the present article)
Once your training course selected, click on Authoring, then click to edit your module (read the article "How to edit the content of an existing training course?" if you don't remember how to modify an existing module). Select then the Code value from the Lock condition drop-down menu.
In the Modules access management section, click on Create
Note: the modules locking by date is authorized but not recommended if there is a Profiling activity in the training course
Choose the module you wish to lock the access and indicate the time period in which learners will be able to access it.
You can choose to only indicate a starting date (00:00 mobile device hour) - the module will be available from this date - or a closing date (23:59 mobile device hour) - the module will not be available from this date.
You can also choose to create this access rule for a selected population or for all learners.
Finish by clicking on Save.
Once the access rule completed, a message is displayed on your screen confirming the access rule creation.
So, to unlock a module, on this same page, click on Delete to delete this locking rule.
