Note : if your question concerns OTS in Mission Center version 18.1, please access the On-the-shelf content section.
You would like to import a training course from a Mission Center to another without following all the training course creation steps? This is possible!
Note: This feature is possible only if your training course has been published yet.
Throughout this article, we will name:
- MC1, the Mission Center in which the training has been initially created
- MC2 the Mission Center in which you want to import your training
In the MC1, if your training course has not been published yet, read the article "How to publish my training?".
Once your training published, go to your training course Administration view to activate the "Export OTS" feature; it allows to download the file containing your training course content.
A popup window appears, you need to click on Export
The file is automatically downloaded on your computer.
In the MC2, click on Training courses, then on Create. Select the Import option that corresponds to the type of training that will allow the import.
Drag and drop in the MC2 the file previously downloaded from the MC1.
Do not forget to set up the same training course code.
Once the training course uploaded (duplicated) in the MC2, you can see that your training course is similar to the original one of the MC1.

You can do changes in the training course on the MC1 that will be duplicated in the training course imported on the MC2.
On another hand, you can notify you learners that you are doing changes to the training course. Here are the steps to follow.
In the MC1:
Once your training course selected, click on Authoring, then on Edit update message
You now have to Edit an update message to notify your learners about the modification you are doing.
Note: you absolutely have to publish your training course after having modified it.
In the MC2:
Refresh your page ; a message will indicate that an update is available and you will have the possibility to consult the update message.
If you want to, you can update your training in the MC2 and you will see that the changes you made in the MC1 were applied in the MC2.
