Teach on Mars allows you to lock a module according to different criteria:
- By date (read the article "How to limit in time the access to a module?")
- Under condition of success of another module (read the article "How to unlock modules under condition of success of another module?")
- By code (we will learn this in the present article)
MODULES LOCKING BY CODE
You want to control access to a specific module of a training course with a code?
- Once your training course selected, click on Authoring, then click to edit your module (read the article "How to edit the content of an existing training course?" if you don't remember how to modify an existing module). Select then the Code value from the Lock condition drop-down menu:
- Click Save
- An unlock code for this module is automatically generated and displayed next to your module title:
Note: the lock conditions are automatically disabled if there is a Profiling activity in your training path
On his side, the learner when he selects a module locked by a code, must enter the unlock code in order to open the module, as shown below:
In order to unlock the module, you only have to select This regular training course is not locked value from the Lock condition drop-down menu in the editing window of your module, and finish by clicking on Save
